It's almost midnight. Keeping in touch and having fun are as important as homework, right?
At the risk of sounding like my mother, whenever you're busy everyone seems to call at the same time. Well, in this case there were two. But still. Kate was just getting warmed up in the television-show-in-our-kitchen, known as cutting Marissa's hair, when Jess called. Of course, it was Jess and I love her and haven't talked to her in weeks, so I answered.
We had an intense 20 minute conversation - I cannot WAIT to see her - until Annika called. I talked to Jess a bit more, called her back, she had to call me back, watched the fauxhawk being created (it looks pretty frickin' awesome) and then Annika called me back...awkward conversation, because my brother of all people was online and I was distracted.
Man. Not very interesting. I wanted to write but I have nothing to write, except about Thanksgiving, which I've explained so much already. It was great, Marissa's family is awesome, even the bad ones, I want to go back next year, I wish I were part of it.
I should really be working on my final papers right now. Ugh.

See, now I'm just wasting time.
Joe, Marissa and I drove back from Thanksgiving in Delaware to (in my mind) have a solid day to do schoolwork...which would be today. After staying up until 2am, as per usual, it is now 1 in the afternoon and the most work I have done is look on our course website to make sure I have no assignments. Yippee...this is going to suck later.
Well, I suppose I should at least look at my reading for Tuesday, and then start doing some research. Even though I'm not completely sure what I'm going to write about. Urban-rural migration in China and...its effect on economic development? The public programs available to those people? Women specifically (only because I have that book)? I don't wanna do it...wah wah.
Fine, bye.

Really? You're going to read this?
Can't say it'll be interesting. This is basically me writing random stuff about my day. And as people I am forced to converse with somewhat regularly (i.e. my family) read it, it will not be a deep insight into the secrets of a second-year college student's (that's me!) life.
I'm not saying there will not be a overflow of wit, hilarity, drama, sudden (or gradual) revelations, and generally riveting reading. Just...I dunno. This is created partly to comment on my dear brother's travels in Mexico.
Love you all!
